Team History
Established in 2009, the Three Cities Baseball Club is a men's baseball team participating in Northeastern (and Regional) leagues and tournaments. The member-players are all 25 years of age or older.
The club's co-founders John "T" Millin and Joshua Taylor are cousins who, although they grew up playing backyard baseball mostly every day, never got the chance to play together on the same team (because of age differences and chosen paths). Millin, now living in Cleveland, and Taylor, in Akron, decided a league must be found that would allow them to compete alongside each other. It was decided that the location should also be convenient for Josh's older brother, Dan Taylor (living in the Canton area) thusly bringing together "three cities" of baseball enthusiasts. The name stuck.

In 2009 The Three Cities Baseball Club participated in the Northeastern Ohio Roy Hobbs league (Open Division), a 28-and-over men's league competing in the Akron, OH region (and surrounding communities).
A team comprised entirely of friends and families, TCBC found their re-integration into the game a veritable path of ups and downs, but the players brought along with them a competitive drive and enthusiasm unmatched by their opponents.
In 2010 the Cities again participated in the NEORH men's Open Division, but with the age-restriction adjustment to 25-and-over, the club expanded into also participating in the Ohio MSBL 25 and over league for increased playing opportunities for an expanding roster.
In 2011 the team extended their reach again, playing cross-over and league games in the newly-founded Cleveland MSBL, before committing to fielding 2 teams, beginning with the 2012 season: one each in the Cleveland and Canton MSBL leagues. A combined team participates in Tournament play, including the Hall of Fame Classic Tournament in Canton in July and Capital City Classic in October.

In 2017, the Cities expanded their reach even further, taking on several players from the 2-time Cleveland MSBL Silver Tournament Champion Shoreway Rays.
The years to come look to continue to provide the member-players an opportunity to compete on a high level in tournament and multi-league play.
Team Logo
At first glance, the "TC" logo comes across as a Minnesota Twins replica, but in all actuality it is an homage to 2 eras of Northeastern Ohio Baseball held near and dear to the TCBC members' collective heart.
The "Wishbone C" was first utilized by the Cleveland Indians in the height of their struggles from the early 1950's (through the early 70's) -- an era that despite producing several pennant-worthy teams became more well known for a "Curse" and the turbulence that never allowed the team to revisit the championship success of the 1948 (and prior) squads.
The next time the "Wishbone C" appeared -- long-since abandoned by the parent club -- was with the AA Eastern League affiliate Canton-Akron Indians in 1989. This team, while playing in the Thurman Munson Stadium in Canton (now maintained by the Ohio MSBL), gave TCBC members their introduction to boyhood heroes Albert Belle (then called Joey), Jim Thome , Brian Giles ,Richie Sexson, Bartolo Colon among others.
To play on the same field as the "Little Indians"is an honor and privilege of the Three Cities player-members.
