Cities Erupt for 23
No one saw it coming, and at the early hour, maybe not even the team themselves, but the Three Cities BC plated 12 straight runs in the first inning before even recording an out. That 13-run first was just the beginning, and the Cities bats continued to pile on, and had put up 23 through 7 innings.
Jack Wysocki (2-3, 2B, 3RS, SB), John Millin (4-6, 2B, 3RS, 3RBI, SB), Scooter Kramer (3-5, 3 RS, RBI, BB), Tyler Fry (4-5, 4RS, 3RBI) and Josh Taylor (3-5, 2B, 2RS, 4RBI) led the offense, while Nick Erme (W, 1-0, 6.00) and Mike Breckenridge (0-0, 8.10) held the Angels at bay, spreading out 5 runs on 8 hits to the home team. Three Cities 23, Akron Angels 5.
Tyler Fry was POTG.
