The Three Cities' offense jumped out of the gates strong on Sunday vs the Dirtbags, continuing where they had left off from Friday night's onslaught, and scored 4 quick runs in the 1st inning, before putting runners in scoring position in both the 2nd and 3rd innings (but failing to tack on more).
"Marathon Man" Scooter Kramer (2-2, 3B, RS, RBI) set the pace for the team, with "Coach" Paul Clark (1-2, 2B), Cory Smith (2-2, RS, RBI) and Tim Razayeski (1-2, 2RBI) among those contributing.
Clint Sorensen made his return start for the team, having not pitched with the club for 2 seasons, and with a solid defense behind him was holding the Dirtbags at bay when the rains came in the 4th.
The game was suspended with the Cities leading by a score of 4-0.
