Wysocki Weekend

Jack Wysocki had a day! Actually he had two! Despite the Cities splitting the weekend pair, losing Saturday to the Lumberkings 8-5 and winning the encore 8-4 over the Aviators, Jack Wysocki was the talk of the amatuer baseball community, as he went 6-8, 4 RS, 5 SB and managed to toss 3 scoreless innings and earn the win on Sunday.

Saturday's game was one that TCBC wishes they had back -- as Nick Erme put together 4 scoreless innings to start the game before handing the reigns over to Lonnie Felton. Despite playing solid defense, the Lumberkings started hitting lasers off of Felton and cruised to the finish.

Sunday saw a similar start from Clint Sorensen, as he held the Aviators to just 2 runs through 6 before exiting in the 7th, leaving 2 runners for Wysocki to inherit. Wysocki quickly got 2 outs before succombing to a single to allow Sorensen's 2 remaining runs to score. But he didn't allow another base runner the rest of the way, and the TCBC 5-run 8th inning, accented with RBI hits from Wade Daniels and Noah Milstead, secured the victory, 8-4.
