Grand Slam vs No-Hitter
So what's a bigger accomplishment: The no-hitter where the defense allows 3 errors and 2 runs? Or a Grand Slam hit out of the smallest park in the league?
Either way, the boys this weekend were in the spot to decide, as Drew Nassal tossed 9 solid innings of no-hit ball to improve his record to 2-0, and Cory Smith took a firm hold of the Cleveland MSBL League leader board with a 4-4 day, including the 4-run roundtripper, as the Cities beat the Tides 10-2.
Next week TCBC looks to continue their winning ways as they take on the Canton Crew in Ohio MSBL on Saturday before continuing their suspended game vs the Dirtbags on Sunday and then taking on the Midwest Mariners (who have established themselves as one of the powerhouses in the Clevealnd league in this, their inagural year in the 25+ division).
