2016 Roster Nearing Finalization
The final roster for this season's Three Cities Baseball Club is nearing completion for both leagues, as the opening weekend is quickly drawing near. With only a couple notable exits, it will be mostly a veteran squad returning for 2016, but there are a few notable new commits, expected to make a quick impact, both on the mound and at the plate.
Catcher John Paulus (23) is expected to slide into the center of the batting order, as well as pick up some duty at 3B and 1B when called upon.
New pitchers Mike Muller (33) and Eric Hovinga (0) have been added to the team's stable of already accomplished pitchers, both bringing a southpaw advantage the team had been lacking. Both are expected to start and work out of the pen.
Infielders Nick Tsangous (2) and Zack Flock (48) add depth and youth to an aging infield core for the Ohio MSBL team, ensuring years of success for the team.
With league dues now past, the expectation is the final roster slots are filled out in the coming days prior to Opening Weekend.
